For those joining the Cultivating Care Membership, your first month will include one 45-minute goal setting session in place of one of your 30-minute coaching sessions. This gives us time to get to know you, your dog, your goals, and how we can best support you moving forward.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need prior cooperative care experience to join? Not at all! Whether you’re brand new to consent-based care or already have experience, you’re welcome here.
What kinds of dogs is this community for? All dogs are welcome from easygoing puppies to dogs with handling sensitivities, fear, anxiety, or a history of aggression during care procedures. We will work at your dog's pace so they remain under threshold.
What is the schedule for monthly events? There are two monthly community events: 1. A group class or webinar held on the second Tuesday of every month.* 2. An active learning session pertaining to that month's topics with time for community sharing and hang out held on the fourth Tuesday of every month.* All events are held virtually via Zoom at 6:00 PM Central. All events will be recorded and be available if you are unable to join or want to revisit later. *There may be some exceptions to scheduling due to holidays and conflicting events.
What topics will be covered inside the club? Topics may include nail trims, grooming, restraint alternatives, veterinary care preparation, medication administration, body handling, muzzle training, start button behaviors, advocacy skills, behavior foundations, and more.
Are the live events recorded? Yes! All group events will be recorded and added to the membership resource library for replay access.
How do the private coaching sessions work? Cultivating Care Members receive two 30-minute virtual coaching sessions per month with one of our founders. Sessions will provide personalized guidance and support tailored to their dog and goals.
What if I have multiple dogs? Can my partner attend? Everyone in your household is welcome to join with one membership!
Does it matter where I live? Not at all! This is an online membership so anyone can join. Please take into consideration time zone differences with the live event schedule.
Can this replace veterinary or behavioral medical care? No. The Care With Consent Club is educational and supportive in nature and is not a replacement for veterinary care, diagnosis, or treatment.
